Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter Update

The newest and by far most powerful Mars orbiter appears to be doing fine, having passed the first big hurdle: launch and deployment. Now it begins the long journey to the Red Planet. The trip will take 7 months, followed by 6 months of aerobraking (anyone see the movie 2010, with Roy Scheider? It's like that but not so dramatic) before it enters its final orbit. Here is a link to the NASA/JPL update page. I think I'll add it to my list.
