So I am going on a big cruise in February (and staying at a little place in Ft. Lauderdale for a couple days beforehand), and I want to book my flight. And I want to use some of the points I've accumulated on my American Express account. The way that works is that you book the flight, transfer the points into the frquent flier program of that airline, and then they get applied.
The dilemma is that I want to fly U.S. Airways (motto: "We're not in liquidation... yet!") because they fly out of National, which is WAY more convenient for me than either Dulles or BWI. And I don't want to wait too long or the frequent flier seats will be snapped up. What to do???
