I watched the latest episode of Enterprise, the first part of another Mirror, Mirror spinoff. It was not fun like the TOS and DS9 ones, it was just creepy -- and not in a good way. All the Hoshi and T'Pol sexuality is just icky.
And what the hell is going on with the Stolen Defiant from the future? Talk about jumping the shark!

And Paramount wonders why folks are watching the show anymore.
Sadly, there were actually a couple of good episodes earlier in this season, dealing with the history of the Vulcans, and T'Pol and Trip's relationship.
Now it's just about looting our desire to see TOS done another way, because this show can't stand on its own.
As I watched this episode, it was striking how much more clever the TOS -- and even the DS9 -- ep was. Maybe because TOS was in the 60's. I guess that midriff on Uhura back then bust have been scandalous. And that whole scene with her and evil Sulu... whew!
And on DS9, the sadistic Intendant in her catsuit and her lesbian leanings! The frowning O'Brien whose nickname is 'Smiley,' Fun!
Part of the problem with this Mirror ep is of course that there are no people from our universe trapped here, so ther eis no one likeable.
